{{OPERATOR_DBA}} (the “Platform”) uses a small number of cookies and similar storage mechanisms to operate.
What we use
Strictly necessary
- Authentication session. When you sign in, your browser stores an encrypted session token issued by our authentication provider. The session expires after a fixed period of inactivity. Without this you cannot stay signed in.
- Cross-site request forgery protection. A short-lived token is set on each request to verify it originated from your browser session.
- Theme and locale preference. A small piece of local storage records your light/dark theme choice and your language preference so the Platform renders consistently across visits.
Field PWA storage
The Field PWA, when used, stores draft inspection reports in your browser’s local database (IndexedDB) so that you can continue working offline. This data is purged after it has successfully synced to the server, or after seven days, whichever is sooner. This local storage stays on your device and is not shared across users.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies. The Platform does not host advertising or share data with advertising networks.
- No third-party tracking. The Platform does not embed third-party analytics or fingerprinting beacons in the authenticated areas during the pilot.
Operational telemetry
We may use first-party error monitoring (such as Sentry) and uptime monitoring on the marketing pages. These tools may set small first-party cookies for purposes of associating an error event with a session. They do not track you across third-party sites. The data they record is used solely to keep the Platform reliable.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser at any time. Doing so will sign you out of the Platform and will clear any unsynced Field PWA drafts. Most browsers also let you block all cookies; if you do that, the Platform’s authenticated area will not work because the session cookie is required to stay signed in.
Changes
If we add a new cookie or change how an existing one is used, we will update this page and update the effective date at the top.
